I always knew I wanted to work with children, families, and adults, and decided becoming a social worker was a great way to do that. I graduated college from Seattle Pacific University where I received my Bachelor Degree in Sociology. I then went on to graduate school at the University of Chicago where I received my Master of Arts Degree in Social Work.

While living in Chicago, I worked as a child and family therapist for children and families involved in the child welfare system. I also worked with underprivileged families, worked as a caseworker for foster children, and as an adoption social worker completing adoption homestudies. I have also worked for the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services and the King County Juvenile Court.

In May of 2009 I relocated back to Seattle from Chicago to continue my work in counseling services and adoption. I work with children, adolescents, and adults, of all ages, races, creeds, sexual orientations, and family structures. I have a passion for working with people, and couldn’t imagine a better job than helping others!
